Things have not been easy for Silvia, a single mother who is doing her best to raise a son while caring for her own mother who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. While navigating these tough challenges Silvia discovers something else - her boss has been involved in corporate corruption and now she must decide whether she takes the easy course of action or the right one.
Writer-director Franco Lolli renders a beautiful portrayal of modern life which is simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking and demonstrates how the strongest acts of defiance can arise in the most regular of lives.
