A British army unit is deployed to Afghanistan. Under the stewardship of Kate and Lisa (Kristin Scott Thomas and Sharon Horgan), the soldiers' wives decide to start a choir. When word reaches them that the unit is missing, the choir takes on an increasingly important role.
